What a wild, (weird!) summer... Before I dive into my *official topic* for this Museletter, I wanted to share a short personal update... My mom is officially 38 days (!) post total knee replacement and making steady progress. 💪 Some days she feels stronger; other days are WAY tougher *(her added sciatic pain is no joke)*. With an amazing PT (and the right meds), she’s slowly/surely learning to listen to her body and rest as needed. I’m definitely learning alongside her. ❤️ How/when to rest (AND how/when to use a cast iron skillet for making breakfast). I’m *also* gearing up for another fall semester at Kilgore College! I’ll be teaching my favorite, ***Intro to Computer Graphics* (Adobe Illustrator)** again and, for the first time ever, ***Digital Imaging I* (Photoshop!)**. Teaching has certainly sharpened and focused how I share what I know about design and the creative process. Which brings me to today’s sharing/caring... Over the years I’ve released a handful of small (but-mighty!) creative resources, from ebooks, and guidebooks, to a mini-camp/creative meditation called Making Magic. ### They’re not *actually* separate ideas... Together they make a sort of... ***wild* creative MAP**: from igniting your initial creative spark to taking bold creative action (with plenty of space to *explore in-between*). ### **This is *The Core Four* *(and it’s how I picture a complete “creative cycle”):*** ## **spark → flow → identity → action** 1. **Kickstart Your HeART *(= CREATIVE SPARK)*** A gentle re-entry when you’re feeling stuck, blocked, or unsure where to begin.
